i have looked everywhere for good tutorials and examples on tapi and i cant seem to find any anywhere. msdn doesnt even have anything good on tapi forvb. i am looking for tutorials or examples on tapi.. might need some on sapi, not sure...well this is what i am trying to do..

i want to make a answering machine for the computer..plug the phone line into your modem.. you know the drill...

heres all the things i really need to know... and whats gonna be done...
1) record your message as a wav file..
2) play your recorded message after the phone rings a certain ammount of times...
3) after recorded message is done playing, you record there message into a wav..
4) then hang up phone line..

TAPI is really bdaly documented in general. I've never found any good tutorials.

im working on a similar project... the only difference is my application is suppose to then compress the recorded wav file and send it to the users inbox... i figured out the compression and mailing part... but im having trouble with the TAPI part of answering the call and playing the greeting and recording the message.. and my dead line for the project is growing closer...
was wondering if i could have a look at ur application if u managed to complete it...
